‘Best Ever Prom’ leaves lasting memories for teens, adults of all abilities

Sparta High School students in Renee Wyman’s special education program work year-round on every aspect of Best Prom Ever, a dinner dance event for teens and adults with disabilities. Lending a hand were hundreds of volunteers, businesses like Eastern Floral and area nonprofit organizations like Lori’s Voice. Working together, they helped nearly a thousand special needs adults from all over West Michigan experience a magical evening. This big volunteer event unites Sparta students, staff and the extended community in a collaborative learning experience for a very appreciative audience.
