Hospitality at the hospital

Kent ISD — Falafel with lettuce, tomatoes and dill sour cream is just one menu option students designed for the cafeteria at Trinity Health. Kent Career Tech Center advanced culinary students are completing three five-week internship experiences at the hospital, where they are working with patient services, in the cafe and in catering. They recently chopped, stirred, cooked and served dishes for diverse customers. Our video reporter takes us there to see how these students are making a tangible difference in the health care sector.
