Kindergartners Say the Darndest Things

West Elementary kindergarten teacher Julie Merrill had students analyzing data, guessing what Dibels are (answer: a reading assessment) and talking about kindergarten recently in a thank-you video for Wyoming Public Schools Board of Education.

Merrill and her husband, Patrick Merrill, created the video like a “Kids Say the Darndest Things” show from the 1960s for Board Appreciation Month. The result: cuteness abounds, starting at about 1:06:
