Young adult students learn skills for work and life

Grandville – Whether they’re wiping down hotel tables or cleaning equipment at a fitness center, Emily Mann’s young adult students are learning on the job – and for future jobs – at the Region III Transition Program. Ages 19 to 21 and hailing from several Kent ISD schools, the students with special needs learn work and independence skills both at their well-equipped facility and at job sites. Our videographer spent a day with them to capture their ambitions and big smiles.
