Learning, gamified: The wall that sparks students’ enthusiasm

Kent City — It’s an interactive whiteboard…but it’s also so much more than that. The Lü interactive board in the gymnasium at Kent City Elementary School is a new twist on technology in education, offering near limitless opportunities for active learning. The school uses the board — paid for with funds raised at the school’s annual walk-a-thon — for physical education classes, spelling lessons, STEM activities, rewards for good attendance and more.

How does this all work? Our videographer visited Kent City Elementary to see the Lü in action, discover how teachers there are taking classes to a new level and learn how their students benefit.

Explore more unique video stories of students learning, interesting school programs and educators working to help all children succeed.
