Sharing the Music

A band member shows off her saxophone

The high school marching band recently performed an impromptu concert in the morning for students in the Room to Bloom childcare program at the Early Childhood Center. The band had played during a staff kickoff event on the football field before visiting children at the ECC. Following the performance, musicians let the youngsters explore the instruments.

“It was a huge success and we aren’t sure who enjoyed themselves more, the teens or the little ones,” said Room to Bloom Director Stephanie Boyce.
