Students Win Silver in Statewide Essay Contest

Susan Lamb, a junior and Cole Visser a senior, placed second in a medical essay contest they entered as part of their Anatomy and Physiology class at Kenowa Hills High School.  Each received a $50 cash prize, a merit certificate and were guests at a banquet at Michigan State University’s Kellogg Center.

Michigan State University and the University of Michigan, along with Dow Chemical and Pfizer Corporation, offer this statewide essay contest focused on helping students learn how important medical research is to our quality of life.  More than 7,700 students from across Michigan entered the contest.
