Series addresses vaccine information for students

All districts — Educators and medical experts provide information and answer questions about the COVID-19 vaccine, during the three-part series “Keeping Our Students Safe” offered by Spectrum Health, in partnership with Vaccinate West Michigan.

Topics include ways to keep students safe as summer begins; the development of the vaccine; the efficacy of the vaccine including for children ages 12 and older; the possible timeline for vaccine approval for children ages 6 months and older; and resources for more information about the vaccine.

Vaccinate West Michigan offers a portal for teens to sign up for the vaccine.
