Firebird restoration offers students “on the job” training before getting the job

Grandville — It may not look like much now, but this 1985 Firebird is in good hands with Grandville High School’s auto tech students. With the help of teacher Ron Denning, they’re preparing the car for a full restoration — and preparing for a potential career at the same time. Our SNN video reporter takes a closer look at all the nuts, bolts and learning that goes into a project like this.
