Taking the ‘American Dream’ to court

Forest Hills — Is the American Dream dead or alive? That is what a group of Forest Hills Northern High School students debated during a mock trial that took place at the 63rd District Court. The students, who are in the school’s Project NEXT class, spent eight weeks preparing for the mock trial by focusing their learning on public speaking, research, critical thinking, collaboration, using evidence and thinking on their feet.
