Elementary classes learn why the orchestra rocks

Students have an interactive experience with the Grand Rapids Symphony

Multiple districts — From their seats with the orchestra, students sang, danced and played the recorder during a special concert through the Grand Rapids Symphony’s Link Up program.  

During the program, “Orchestra Rocks,” students from East Grand Rapids, Comstock Park and other schools moved and played instruments to songs including “We Will Rock You” and “Johnny B. Goode.”

The Link Up program is offered in partnership with Carnegie Hall.
