2025 grad reflects on inclusive high-school experience

Robel graduates with the East Kentwood High School class of 2025

Kentwood — Twelfth-grader Robel walked across the field during his graduation at East Kentwood High School last spring, acknowledging the “togetherness,” “connectivity” and “circle of love” he experienced.

After 13 years in the district, Robel reflected on the friends he’s made as they go their separate ways and celebrated the accomplishments of the class of 2025.

Robel is featured in this video as part of a series called “Through the Eyes of Our Students,” created by Kentwood Public Schools and Aves Films. It shares stories of students who attend Kentwood Public Schools. The district is the most diverse in Michigan.
