Time to sign up for Camp Curious at GRPM

Education Everywhere — It’s time to sign kids up for summer camps, single-day and multi-day experiences for summer 2026 at the Grand Rapids Public Museum.

Camp Curious runs from June 15 to August 7. Public Museum members can sign up children in grades pre-K through ninth grade starting January 23. Registration for all camps opens to the public on January 30; anyone can become a member at any time.

Camps are divided into age groupings of Pre-K, grades 1-3, grades 4-6, and grades 7-9. Each age grouping has a variety of camps available. Younger campers will focus on exploring the museum and crafting and experimenting, while older campers will learn new STEM skills and create their own exhibits.

New camps this year include Detective Academy for grades 4-6 and GeoQuest for grades 7-9. Returning camp favorites include Lego Adventures, Photography, Zoology, Astronomy and Grand River Ecology.

Also returning this year for students in grades 4-6 is Predator Prey, which is a collaboration with the Van Andel Institute for Education. The first two days of this camp, which runs only July 27-30, will be at the museum, and the final two days will be at the Van Andel Institute.
