Documentary focuses on anxiety, related issues

A film and conversation about raising awareness around anxiety will take place at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 2 at Kent Career Tech Center, 1655 E. Beltline Ave. SE.

The documentary “Angst” involves mental health experts discussing the causes of anxiety, its sociological effects and what can be done about it. The film includes interviews with kids, teens, educators, experts, parents and Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps. It is being hosted by MySchool@Kent and presented in partnership with the Tech Center, Kent Innovation High and Kent Transition Center.

The free event is facilitated by trained staff. Seats are limited.
