Art & animal lovers can experience both in June

Education Everywhere — Members of the Grand Rapids Art Museum can use their memberships to visit the John Ball Zoo and vice versa this month, giving art lovers and animal lovers a chance to check out a different venue.

Those planning to participate in the offer should check on visiting hours and dates, as entry to some exhibitions may not be included. GRAM also held a membership share in May with Blandford Nature Center.

Grand Rapids Art Museum is at 101 Monroe Center NW in downtown Grand Rapids and is hosting a free Discovery Day on June 7, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. with free admission for all visitors. The new exhibit, David Hockney: Perspective Should Be Reversed, is included with admission.

John Ball Zoo is at 1300 W. Fulton St. on Grand Rapids’ west side. The popular Lantern Festival ends June 15 and an additional ticket is required.
