Future songwriters, audio engineers learning to create in production lab

Northview — Have you ever wondered what goes into audio production, whether that involves music, commercials or background noise in videos? In Northview High School’s Music Production class, teacher Jack Phillipson helps students learn how to be audio engineers, songwriters and other creative professions, using software, microphones, keyboards, drum pads and more.

Our videographer stopped by the production lab while students were recording audio to create their own commercials. Check out the video to see — and hear — their work in action and discover what they love about the class.
