Find all kinds of ‘wonder’ at the library this summer

Education Everywhere — Readers of all ages will find a world of wonder at Kent District Library branches all summer long.

Summer Wonder is back and runs through Aug. 7. The program encourages lifelong learning through reading, hands-on activities and free events for a variety of interests, learning styles and abilities.

To start, anyone interested in joining the program should stop by any KDL branch around Kent County to pick up a reading log, or you can register online. From there, keep track of your reading progress and check out the wide variety of events being offered, including musical performances, STEAM activities, magic shows, animal encounters and more.

The library will offer prizes and giveaways, including flashlights for elementary students, book bags for kindergartners and gift certificates and other prizes for others.
