Survey asks: How do you use the library?

Education Everywhere — The Grand Rapids Public Library is looking for input on how and when you use the library the most.

The community is asked to share their input in the library hours survey between now and July 25. The survey covers usage of Grand Rapids’ eight locations around the city.

The survey is a result of a new GRPL strategic plan and will help leaders evaluate the library’s current operating hours. Library leaders say that the operating hours of the library branches have remained largely unchanged for more than 20 years. 

GRPL expects to use the survey results to make sure that events, programs, services and collections are available to the public when they are needed the most. Leaders say that any changes to operating hours will be focused on growth and innovation and is not a reaction to budget constraints or funding changes.
