Area Special Education Teams Shoot and Score!

Kenowa Hills High School recently hosted for the second year a regional Special Olympics basketball tournament. Schools from Byron Center, Sparta, Forest Hills, Thornapple Kellogg, Hudsonville and Holland sent teams. Kenowa Hills students filled the stands during the game, held during the school day. Kristi Koning, special education teacher for Kenowa Hills, praised the support from the general education students. Entertainment was provided between games by the varsity and junior varsity dance teams and the KH Spirit band.
