Passage of a $41 million bond extension allowed Caledonia Community Schools to break ground recently on a second building at the high school on Kraft Avenue SE, south of 100th Street.
GMB Architects + Engineers designed the new building, which will be situated southeast of the existing building and be able to accommodate 600 students when it opens and can expand to 1,200 students throughout its life. The project, which will be complete in fall 2017, is being managed by Lakewood Construction.​
