MDE seeks parents for focus group June 21

The Michigan Department of Education is seeking 12 parents for a June 21 focus group about the Parent Dashboard. This site, housed on the MDE website, hosts many types of information about schools, including attendance data, staffing ratios and a variety of performance measures for schools and students.

The focus group will be held at Kent ISD, 2930 Knapp St. NE, from 6-8 pm. With help from facilitators from Public Policy Associates, participants will be asked to review and give opinions about this dashboard. Additional details can be found in this flyer.

No experience with the dashboard is needed, and participants will be given $40 as a thank you for their time. Interested parents are asked to register online.
