Kent ISD hosts virtual high school open houses Thursday

Kent ISD – Students will have the opportunity to explore three specialty high school programs virtually during online open house events from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 25.

The Kent Career Tech Center, Kent Transition Center and MySchool@Kent welcome students and families to virtually see inside their classrooms, talk with instructors and hear from current students through Zoom. The Virtual Open Houses will be held simultaneously on each school’s website, Kent Career Tech Center, Kent Transition Center and MySchool@Kent.

Interested participants can visit the websites in advance to learn about options, then sign up to attend live Zoom sessions during the events. Live, interactive Zoom sessions about each course will take place at 5:30, 6 and 6:30 p.m. for the Tech Center and Kent Transition Center. General information sessions with counselors and other support staff begin at 5 p.m. and remain open throughout the events.

Enrollment is open for all three schools. Students who find a program they’d like to join need to talk to their high school counselor about enrolling for fall. For more information visit these links:
