Feeling good to help others feel good

Kelloggsville — Elementary, middle and high school students recently gathered for Be Nice Stomp Out Stigma, an event that spread positivity, inspired kindness and promoted movement.

Students practiced techniques for regulating their emotions, like taking deep breaths, blowing bubbles and pinwheels, dancing with ribbons, doing yoga and making self-affirmations.

The event was tied to mental health awareness, helping students feel good about themselves, build confidence and become role models for others.

Our videographer joined the action, connecting the dots between being nice and mental health.
